<lj:music>IN THE MIDDLE OF CHAOS - the GazettE</lj:music>

Saw this the other day during a visit to my grandparents house. It's about two escaped convicts who rob banks by sleeping over at the bank managers house the night before (trust me, it makes sense during the movie!). It was originally released in 2001. Here, instead of me trying to explaining it, check out the trailer:

<lj-embed id="1" />

The relationship between Joe, Terry, and Kate is really quite touching. It reminded me of the relationship between Asakura, Ray, and Maria (from Requiem et Reminiscence to a certain degree. But there is a couple key differences I won't disclose here. I don't have time right now to do a more in depth discussion about the movie, but maybe if one of you reading this decide to watch it, we can talk about it!

Also, it seems like movies always have the best bank robbery ideas! First Inside Man, now this!

Go rent it; you'll thank me. :)

Saw Up last night (in 3D!). One of the best movies I've seen in a while, no question. I forgot how good Pixar's movies are; everything about it exceeded my expectations going in. Very touching in more ways than one as well. Additionally, they showed the Toy Story 3 preview before Up, ooomg.

Seeing WALL-E for the first time on Monday in my Computer Engineering class (we're programming NXT Lego robots, so it is totally related!), can't wait.

It's fifth period, 2:30pm. English. AT 2:30PM. 2:30PM. WE GET OUT AT 2:35PM. Our teacher then suggests we take our belongings and put up our chairs (duh), but we still have to meet on the field for attendance. Problem is, I am only wearing a somewhat thin, long-sleeve shirt and can't retrieve my coat from my locker because we were in a portable.

10-15 minutes go by, my teeth chattering and fingers going numb when finally we are allowed to leave. But wait, only to the buses! So I quickly walk to my bus and continue to freeze.... Thankfully about 10 minutes after that we were allowed to go back in the school, and I was forced to sprint up to the other side of the school to my locker and retrieve my coat (hoping the buses would not leave). I made it back in time, but wow. Who ever thought this would be funny needs to be shot. ):

How is this act of foolishness JUSTIFIED?! Okay, that was a bad segway, but I am anxiously awaiting for somebody to upload the Justified mp3!

Haven't played it too much, but I just worked my way up to the second line on my club, the San Antonio Rampage (Phoenix Coyotes farm team in the AHL). Cool stuff. I've been trying to play one of the many online modes, but it won't let me update the rosters. I need to look into that.

.....and about the new 2009 Gackt Calender.... CREEPY EYES.

oh yeah, and I was FURIOUS with Apple last night. I buy an iPod Touch last month in Vancouver, then they announce the second generation a few days ago! And it has ALL of the features that I wished mine had! Luckily, under the shops return policy, I am still allowed to get a full refund. So yay!

    <lj:music>4th... - Gackt</lj:music>

Only a few weeks of school left! I've gotten a lot work out of the way right now, a few more projects and that'll be it! Summers coming!

Anyways, Anime North was this past weekend; I went with my friend Jamie, so that was a lot of fun. The main reason I went was for the BEYBLADE'S NOT DEAD! event (which I mentioned in my last post). It was awesome! I got to meet a bunch of Beywiki members, and actually got to play Beyblade with someone other than myself for the first time in 5 years! After all these years, I'm still in love with the game. It's indescribable, there is just something about it that I am so helplessly in love with. This is something that will never change.

The only disappointments I can think of is that it just wasn't long enough. Partly due to the fact that I was unsure of all of the members locations more than half the time, because I really would have liked to spend some more time with them, but oh well, it'll have to wait until next year! Hopefully I can get someones cell number then, so I can keep in contact. Also, next to this, WALKING; I must have walked 2017109km during this past weekend.

Here is what I bought/acquired, spent about $100:
Poster: $4
Ray bag: $1
Burning Kerberous/BBA bit stickers: Everybody who participated in BND! got them.
Sea Dragon: Blue gave me it because he is the nicest guy ever
Gundam SEED Destiny Vol.11/12: $21.99 each
Gackt Mars/Rebirth: $19.99 each
5 Centimeters Per Second: $25.95

So, overall, I would say pretty enjoyable weekend! It was wonderful meeting everyone, and to anyone from BW reading this, it was a pleasure meeting you! This next year won't go by fast enough.

Boredom; I've realized what a wonderful thing it can be. Not having anything to worry about or think about, just being bored. I so badly want to be in that situation right now, it isn't funny. But I know that isn't going to happen, I have too many things going on in my life. I will complete them though and eventually one day be carefree and bored, at least for a little while.

I live to be challenged, if I wasn't I wouldn't be able to live.

In the past few weeks I've really learned a lot about Photoshop. It's all thanks to my Cyber ARTs class at school and my own curiosity. It's just like I thought it would be when I knew what I was doing (well, not totally, I still have to learn lots of things); fun.

I'm one step closer to my future.

PHOENIX

Well, just the other day I was struck with some inspiration for my first collection of poetry. I won't give out the title of it yet, but It's codename is PHOENIX and will be composed of approximately 10-15 Haiku's along with 4-5 other longer types of poetry (could be anything from a Rondelet, Rondel, to even a Nonet or two).

There won't be any free verse poetry in this collection, which I normally write along with the next collection I will be writing. After I have completed PHOENIX, I will begin the next collection which I will codename DRAGON for now.

Here is a preview of one of the Haiku's;

FALSE LOVE

I revive the past.
It is reborn from ashes,
but it dies again.

Kei//5.11.07

P.S.: If you would like to see my future entries regarding PHOENIX and my poetry, please friend request me.
